Immaculata, inspired by Colm Tóibín's novel The Testament of Mary, is the final joint project of Tomaž and Livija Pandur. The production reveals the inner world of an ageing Mary who does not accept the image of her son as the Messiah, but speaks instead from the perspective of a mother marked by loss and unspoken doubt. Through a distinctly poetic and visually powerful language, the performance opens a space of silence, memory, and wounds that remain unhealed.
